Summit Air has been operating since February 24‚ 2011.
For the first time in Nepal's aviation history this is a brand new multi-engine turbo prop aircraft which was imported by a Nepali company to be operated in STOL airfield. Summit Air is operating LET L410 UVP -E20 which is certified brand new aircraft of 4th Generation. It has comfortable seating with wide windows and most spacious passenger compartment in its category aircraft with noise proof cabin is ideally suited for both still photography and videography and perfectly suited for skydiving. Summit Air is domestic airline operator established in Feb 24‚ 2014 in Kathmandu. It offers flight operation to STOL (Short Take Off Landing) airfield all over Nepal. Summit Air has introduced brand new aircraft called LET 410 Czech Republic made 18 seater aircraft in Nepalese aviation. At present Summit Air has 4 aircraft's in its fleet. The major sectors it covers are trekking and remote areas where the surface road is not accessible. It offers the flights basically based from different hub airports those are i.e. Kathmandu‚ Pokhara, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi . From Kathmandu flight operates to LUKLA‚ PHAPLU‚ TAPLEJUNG‚ RUMJATAR‚ RAMECHHAP and LAMIDANDA. From Pokhara we operates to JOMSOM and MANANG from Nepalgunj we operate flights to SIMIKOT (HUMLA)‚ DOLPO‚ JUMLA‚ RARA and BAJURA then from Dhangadi we operate flights to Sanfebagar, Rukum(Salle), Bajhang.
Summit Air has been in operation since February 24‚ 2011. Summit Air started its operation with two Cessna grand caravan as air taxi operator from its SURKHET base. This airlines was operating two Cessna Grand caravan 208B 9 seater which is equipped with two modern navigational aids.
