Jomsom Airport situated in Mustang district is at an elevation of 8,976 feet. Jomsom is a beautiful village located in Kaligandaki Valley of Mid-Western Nepal. It lies in the trans- Himalayan region of Annapurna and sits at the base of Mt.Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Jomsom is the gateway to the holiest of shrines,Muktinath and Lo-Mantang as well as a common endpoint for treks originating from Manang mainly Annapurna Circuit, Dhaulagiri Circuit, and Upper Dolpo Circuit. The best time to visit is from April-May and September-Mid November.
